Description: On November 28, 2018, in the vicinity of 125 Pine Street, Brooklyn, when Defendant Officers Andre Ohara and John/Jane Does 1-10 and Sergeants Robert Martinez and William Schumacher approached Plaintiff Edwin Liriano, handcuffed him and arrested him, despite the lack of evidence against him. Plaintiff was transported to the 75th precinct, where he was held for one day before being transported to Central Booking, where he was held for another day before being arraigned and released from custody. After Plaintiff was forced to make several court appearances, the charges were dismissed on June 27, 2019.

Description: On November 28, 2018, around 3:50 AM, in the vicinity 125 Pine Street, Brooklyn, when Defendants NYPD Officers Andre Ohara, Sergeant Robert Martinez, Sergeant William Schumacher, and Officers John/Jane Doe 1-10 entered the location and handcuffed and falsely arrested Plaintiff. He committed no crimes and had no contraband in his possession. Defendant officers transported Plaintiff to the 75th precinct, searched him, and held him inside a cell there for several days before Plaintiff was transported to Central Booking. After being held at Central Booking for a few days, Plaintiff was released from custody when the KCDA declined to prosecute him.
