Complaint
Description: On June 4, 2020, plaintiff encountered a protest while biking home. Stopping to observe it, he was pushed by an unknown Defendant officer (John Doe 1), who told him to leave the scene. Plaintiff attempted to comply, but was stopped by Defendant Inspector Lance, who also told him to leave the scene. When Plaintiff attempted to tell Lance that he was leaving, Lance struck his bicycle tire with his baton/asp, causing it to pop, and then struck Plaintiff with the baton/asp. Defendant Johnson and Doe Defendants #2-7 joined in the assault, during which Plaintiff was thrown to the ground and continually beaten with batons.
