Philip Kara, and Sgt. Novaidul Neon, entered the home of Professor Allred, an adjunct professor at Rutgers, without a warrant or exigent circumstances. The police told him that a Rutgers student's parent had complained to the Rutgers University Police Department that he made negative or disturbing comments while teaching students the day after Donald Trump's presidential victory. Allred told police that he discussed flag burning in class and had not intent to commit violence.
