Description: On May 6, 2018, Plaintiff was arrested for shoplifting in a Walgreens. Plaintiff informed the officers, including Morales, that he is a Type 1 diabetic and needed insulin. The officers ignored his request. At the precinct and central booking, Plaintiff repeatedly requested the officers and practically begged to get him to the hospital; the requests were either ignored were rejected. His request for water was also denied. Plaintiff stayed in central booking for the whole night before he was taken to the hospital when he collapsed to the floor.
