Description: On May 25, 2014, plaintiff was lawfully walking at or near the intersection of Alabama Avenue and New Lots Avenue in Kings County, NYC. Without any warning, the defendants approached plaintiff and began subjecting him to excessive force. Specifically, defendants struck plaintiff on his right eye, causing him to sustain pain and serious injuries. Plaintiff was searched and placed into handcuffs. The search yielded no evidence of drugs or contraband. Defendants detained plaintiff and he was held for several hours in a local area precinct. Defendants also obstructed local emergency medical services of performing their duties. Defendants also gave false statements about what occurred.
