Description: On November 1, 2017, Plaintiff left a Rite Aid store without paying for some candy bars and novelty trinkets. Plaintiff went to another Rite Aid store, and as he was leaving, P.O. John Doe 1 grabbed Plaintiff’s elbow and threw him to the ground. P.O. John Doe 1 and P.O. John Doe 2 then hit Plaintiff on the head several times with extreme force. Plaintiff was not resisting. P.O.Andrea Haro stood by and watch this happen without intervening. Plaintiff was knocked unconscious by the blows. When Plaintiff regained consciousness he was woozy and asked for medical attention, but the P.O.s denied his request. P.O.s then took Plaintiff to a precinct where he was held for 4 hours.
