Complaint
Description: On September 30, 2015, Plaintiff was arrested by Officers Kate Simon and Ryan Glasser, charged with assault and obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and criminal contempt. Plaintiff was placed in the Rikers Island Prison for 19 months. Plaintiff suffered physical and emotional distress while in prison. Plaintiff was found not guilty afterwards. Defendants initiated a criminal proceeding despite knowledge that Plaintiff had committed no crime.
