Description: On October 29, 2013, the two Plaintiffs were detained by NYPD detectives/officers outside of their residence. They were handcuffed by PO Derek Webber and his colleagues and placed under arrest without legal basis and without being told what they were being charged with. Plaintiffs were transported to the precinct where they were interrogated and held until late in the evening. On October 30, 2013, Plaintiffs received letters from the DA's Office stating that their arrests had been dismissed. Plaintiffs were released after approximately thirty six hours in custody.
