Complaint
Description: On October 9, 2018, Gladstone Barrett, Garth Amos, Damar Heckstall, and Ashwell Miller were each driving a van individually. Gladstone Barrett was stopped and seized by Officer Russo and other unknown officers. Garth Amos was stopped and seized by Officer Fischer and other unknown officers. Damar Heckstall was stopped and seized by Officer Goodling and other unknown officers. Ashwell Miller was stopped and seized by Officer Lyons and other unknown officers. Each plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to the 113th precinct. Each was interrogated by other officers and issued a summons. Each appeared in the Criminal Court of Queens County on December 19, 2018, where the summon was dismissed.
