Original Complaint, Amended Complaint
Description: Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff and his friends while they were searching for a robbery suspect. They then handcuffed plaintiff, brought him to complainant and asked her to Identify if he was the perp, to which she said she didn't know. Plaintiff was taken to the 103rd Precinct and held on Rikers until the Grand Jury voted no true bill. The DA then re-presented the case to the Grand Jury with new charges and after trial a jury found Plaintiff not guilty. Officer Conde admitted to tackling Plaintiff in a pre-trial hearing.
