It is believed that defendant NYPD Officer Corporan approached Plaintiff and attempted to search Plaintiff's pants pockets due to racial discrimination rather than particularized suspicion of a crime. Plaintiff was then tightly handcuffed, and his handcuffs were not loosened despite his complaints, and he was imprisoned in a police vehicle and taken to the 121st Precinct. Description: On May 17, 2014, Kevin Espinal was selling a pair of shorts to his friend Tyrese. Mr. Espinal was a college student and has started his own line of clothing, which he sells to friends and family. Tyrese gave Mr. Espinal a ride in his car to Mr. Espinal's apartment to pick up the shorts. Mr. Espinal picked up the shorts from his apartment and got back into Tyrese's car to give him the shorts.
