Description: On March 6, 2019 Mr. Maggio was waiting in his backyard while EMT's tended to his daughter's medical emergency inside his home. 12 officers arrived and formed a barrier blocking him from the home. Shortly after, the the daughter's nurse informed Mr. Maggio she was breathing. As Mr. Maggio attempted to enter the house, Officers Salvatore Oliveri, Christopher Payne, Peter Evensen, Annaruth Legare, Jonathan Bass, and James Amundsen forced him to the ground. Officer Ryan McGuiness kicked him in the back while he was on the ground. Description: On June 11, 2013, NYPD officers Scott Drummon and Tara Bannon-Albarano stopped plaintiff Giovanni Dimaggio’s vehicle while the plaintiffs were driving in accordance with the law. Officer Drummond approached the driver’s side window and asked for license and registration. Meanwhile, Officer Bannon-Albarano approached the passenger side window and began yelling and cursing at the plaintiffs.
