Description: On January 1, 2014, at approximately 2:00 a.m., plaintiff was at a house party in Brooklyn, New York. He was standing in the back yard of the residence, when the defendant officers Bryan Cullen, Ajuba Granville, and John Doe 1-2 asked plaintiff to come towards them. He complied and walked to the officers, who then unlawfully handcuffed and arrested plaintiff without probable cause. Plaintiff was not committing any crimes and did not resist arrest. Despite this, he was taken to the 73rd Precinct, where defendant officer Cullen conveyed false information to prosecutors, leading to plaintiff's prosecution for possession of a loaded rifle and ammunition.
