Description: On March 29, 2017, police officers stopped plaintiff Adolph Lewis with guns drawn and told them they had a warrant to search his apartment. They then arrested him. Plaintiffs Latrell Lewis, Meleshia Lewis, and Melissa Lewis were arrested in the apartment by officers with guns drawn, and officers pointed a gun at Meleshia's toddler. Plaintiffs were then detained at the 67th precinct for hours and falsely charged with unlawful possession of ammunition or marijuana, even though neither had been recovered in the apartment search.
