Description: On September 26, 2013 Plaintiffs Iymanni Aniels and David Corley were home at 6:20 am when NYPD officers smashed open their door with guns drawn, terrifying them and their two young children. No search warrant was ever produced. The officers tore apart the apartment. Plaintiff Corley was forced to disrobe and was strip searched. They hammered open a wall and found some very old drug paraphernalia that had been stashed there years before. Both Plaintiffs Iymanni Aniels and David Corley were arrested and held for 36 hours before arraignment, and then charged with drug possession. While in jail the apartment was burglarized.
