Description: On June 26, 2012, Plaintiffs stayed at their grandmother’s apartment. Defendants forced their way into the above apartment with guns drawn. Defendants threw Plaintiff Derek Jackson up against a wall and onto the floor. Defendants put a gun to Plaintiff Darcell Purdie’s face. As Plaintiff D.G. began crying, Defendants, with their guns drawn, ordered Plaintiff D.G. to stand up and go out into the hallway. When Plaintiff D.G. tried to explain that she and Plaintiffs were in their grandmother’s apartment, Defendants screamed in her face that she was lying. Without probable cause or reasonable suspicion, Defendants searched, handcuffed, and arrested Plaintiffs. Plaintiffs were eventually taken to the 77th Precinct. ...
