Description: On June 2, 2020, plaintiff was lawfully and peacefully attending a protest of police misconduct in the wake of the killing of George Floyd. An unidentified uniformed police officer shoved a protestor without provocation, causing a stampede of protestors and NYPD members in riot gear in plaintiff's direction. Plaintiff ran to try to escape the oncoming rush but stopped to help a person that had fallen on the ground. As plaintiff was helping this person, plaintiff encountered P.O. Michael Laborde in riot gear so plaintiff extended his arms over his head with his hands open in a "hands up" gesture. P.O.
