Description: On August 14, 2013, at approximately 11:00 p.m., plaintiff was accosted by three plainclothes police officers in the lobby of her apartment building in Brooklyn, New York. The officers forcibly subdued plaintiff, assaulting her and causing her shirt to come up over her head and her pants to be pulled down. They handcuffed her without probable cause and transported her to a police precinct. At the precinct, the officers falsely informed the Kings County District Attorney's Office that plaintiff had committed several crimes, including multiple counts of assault. Plaintiff was arraigned in Kings County Criminal Court, where she was released on her own recognizance after approximately seventeen hours in custody. Sh...
