Description: Borim Husenaj died on March 4, 2022, with plaintiff Diamant Hysenaj being appointed administrator of his estate. On or about November 10, 2021, on a sidewalk, the decedent Borim Husenaj was injured when he was the victim of an assault, battery and use of excessive and unnecessary force by agents of the city of New York. He was repeatedly punched in the face by police officer Juan Perez, without any justification. Eventually, decedent was caused to sustain permanent physical, emotional and psychological injuries, and his heirs and distributees have sustained economic and pecuniary losses, grief, emotional pain, loss of society and other injuries by reason of decedent's death by suicide.

Description: On May 6, 2018, Plaintiff was arrested for shoplifting in a Walgreens. Plaintiff informed the officers, including Morales, that he is a Type 1 diabetic and needed insulin. The officers ignored his request. At the precinct and central booking, Plaintiff repeatedly requested the officers and practically begged to get him to the hospital; the requests were either ignored were rejected. His request for water was also denied. Plaintiff stayed in central booking for the whole night before he was taken to the hospital when he collapsed to the floor. Description: On August 4, 2012, Officer Dey threw Plaintiff Croonquist to the ground, handcuffed her face down, and pinned her to the ground in front of her husband and two children. Plaintiff's husband was threatened with arrest and placement of his children into foster care. Plaintiff was detained for 17 hours. All charges were dismissed. On May 17, 2012, 84 year old Plaintiff Capsis complained to NYPD Officer Rich about the inappropriate placement of his vehicle. In response, Officer Rich pinned Plaintiff to his vehicle, punched him in the face, and threw him to the ground. All charges were dismissed.
