Description: On February 27, 2018, NYPD officers, including Stephen Daly, Matthew Vahey, Patrick Barry, Lenno Hendricks, Shawn Soler, Kenneth Paek, Daniel Keane, Dennis Mogelnicki, Eric Miller, and “John” Richardson, forcibly entered an apartment in which plaintiffs were staying. Officers entered the bedroom, pointed guns at plaintiffs, and handcuffed them. Description: Defendant Officers forcibly entered Plaintiff's home without a warrant and searched the apartment. Plaintiff was hit in the shoulder, told she had been in the country too long not to speak English and was kneed in the ribs by defendant officers. Officers stole $7,000, jewelry, and surveillance devices from the residence. Plaintiff was arrested, brought to the 115th Precinct, held for 11 hours, and then released without further explanation. Description: On January 18, 2012, plaintiff was awoken by the sound of a boom. Plaintiff sat up to clear his head and defendant Officer John Doe entered the doorway and shouted for plaintiff to freeze. Without warning, defendant pushed his shield on plaintiff, and also broke a glass framed picture on plaintiff. Blood was everywhere inside the residence. Defendants stated they had a warrant and were searching for a gun. Defendant was transferred to the hospital as a result of injuries he suffered at the hands of defendants.
