Amended Complaint
Description: Plaintiff was approached and asked to provide his identification on the Coney Island Boardwalk. When plaintiff asked why, Officers arrested him. Defendants then knocked him to the ground, assaulted and battered plaintiff including striking him with closed fists, batons, kicking him and ripping off plaintiff's shirt. A defendant officer stuck his knee into plaintiff's neck as plaintiff lay helpless on the ground. Plaintiff taken to 60th precinct, then hospital where he underwent treatment including multiple blood transfusions as a result of the beating he sustained at the hands of defendants. Charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, which were later ACD'd.
