Description: On December 31, 2019, plaintiff Steven Dominguez attended a New Year's Eve celebration at a private event space in Brooklyn. A scuffle broke out at the event and an unidentified person slashed plaintiff's face with a knife, leaving a large cash on plaintiff's right cheek. When the police arrived, despite plaintiff's girlfriend and a friend of plaintiff's identifying the attacker, the police did not question the attacker and allowed him to get in a car and rive away.
