Description: On January 15, 2014, Lenard Berrian was walking on the block of 43rd street with another individual, when NYPD officers Daniel Bernstein and Mohammed Donyo exited a police vehicle posing as a taxi cab and rushed toward them. Officer Donyo handcuffed and searched Berrian, both patting him down and unzipping his jacket to search inside it. The officers also searched the surrounding area and recovered no contraband. Members of the public recorded the incident with their phones and one handed later handed Berrian his business card so that he could recover the recording. Donyo performed a warrant check on Berrian, and finding no outstanding warrants, released him, claiming that they had received complaints of "vagr...
