Description: On September 19, 2012, the plaintiff, Kiasheen Ward, was driving his car with his his fiancee and his dog in the car when he was stopped by defendant police officers (including defendants Officers Aron Baksh and Michael Kalish and Sergeant Nigel Fenton and John and Jane Doe 4-10). The defendants ordered him to pull over, and when he exited his car, they harshly slammed him against the car, handcuffed him, and brought him to a prisoner van. At the van, one defendant officer intentionally slammed the door into Mr. Ward's face, and when the defendants forced him into the van, his head slammed against one of the seats and his lip was sliced by a metal object protruding from the seat. Description: On September 25, 2013, Plaintiff was lawfully at an apartment building in Brooklyn, visiting a friend on the third floor. On his way up, Plaintiff was approached by the two defendants who asked if he lived in the building. Plaintiff said he did not, was there visiting a friend, and provided identification. Plaintiff was pushed against a well, tightly handcuffed and unlawfully searched for contraband but Plaintiff had no contraband.
