Description: On October 2, 2013, plaintiff Hicks was stopped outside of his car by a plain clothes detective under the supervision of defendant Lt. Barone. Plaintiff Hicks ran away. When he returned to his home later, he discovered that defendant Barone and other unnamed defendant officers had ransacked his home under the pretense of a search warrant for a gun. Defendant officers damaged the front door and broke an urn containing the ashes of plaintiff Hicks' father.
