Description: On October 15, 2011, at approximately 11:00 a.m., plaintiff was in a bodega in Brooklyn, New York. NYPD officers, including Detective Raymond Gordon and Edward Fackler, enetered the store and without reasonable suspicision or probable cause, unlawfully arrested plaintiff. They took him to the 79th Precinct, where they unlawfully strip-searched him. The officers prepared false police reports and falsely claimed to have observed plaintiff in a drug transaction. Plaintiff spent approximately 14 hours in custody before being released without seeing a judge.
The District Attorney declined to prosecute.
