Description: On June 16, 2011, at approximately 6:30 p.m., plaintiff, a 55-year-old woman with no criminal record, was falsely arrested and imprisoned by NYPD officers Marco Artale, Sonia Yi, and Thomas McBride in Brooklyn, NY. Plaintiff and her sister had just left their cousins's funeral and were taking a walk around the block, when Officer Yi approached plaintiff, forcibly searched her, and found no contraband.
Without probable cause, plaintiff and her sister were arrested and subjected to further searches at the precinct, including plaintiff being ordered to lift up her bra.
