Description: On July 31, 2014, outside 23 East 127th Street in Manhattan, plaintiffs Elizabeth and Agnes Ohuche were arrested by unidentified NYPD officers . Defendant NYPD officers grapped and held both plaintiffs, used force against their bodies, handcuffed them excessively tightly, and forcibly transported them to a police station for searching and processing, while observing officers failed to intervene. Plaintiff Elizabeth Ohuche sustained physical injuries including nerve damage to her arm, hand, and finger as well as difficulty breathing and loss of mobility, while plaintiff Agnes Ohuche suffers lacerations and abrasions and loss of mobility among other injuries.
