Description: On May 14, 2016, Plaintiff, who suffers from mental illness and lives in a transitional housing program, was at her apartment and about to be visited by her friend. PO Kselman, Brochhausen, and two John Doe POs knocked on Plaintiff's door. Plaintiff told them they could not enter without a warrant. The POs smashed open the door, entered Plaintiff's home, and shot Plaintiff in the chest with a taser gun. Plaintiff fell to the ground. She was handcuffed on the ground and held there for 30 minutes.

Description: On February 19, 2013, plaintiff and her minor children were at her mother's apartment in East Harlem, NY. Plaintiff's sister Janece stopped by. Plaintiff and Janece argued over a family matter. Janece threatened plaintiff with a razor in the presence of several children. In response to a 911 call Janece made, officers from the 25th Precinct came to the apartment. When the officers arrived, Janece told them nothing serious happened.
