Complaint
Description: On or about June 19, 2019, plaintiff was driving when he was pulled over by NYPD officer Christopher Signorile. Plaintiff had not committed any traffic infractions, equipment violations, or other offenses. NYPD officers placed plaintiff under arrest, handcuffing his arms tightly behind his back. Plaintiff was transported to a police precinct where he was falsely charged with Reckless Driving and Obstructing Governmental Administration. In connection with plaintiff’s arrest, Signorile filled out false and/or misleading police reports and forwarded them to prosecutors. As a result of his unlawful arrest, plaintiff had property confiscated from him that has not been returned.
