Description: On September 19, 2010, Plaintiffs, who are friends and neighbors, were on their way home when an individual asked them for a cigarette. As Plaintiff Lang gave the passerby a cigarette, Defendant Khan approached Plaintiff Yander and asked for identification. In response, Yander asked Khan why he needed to see ID. Khan replied that he did not need to give Yander a reason for the production of ID. Yander attempted to get his ID out of his wallet. Khan began to yell at Yander regarding his ID. Yander was suddenly and violently shoved against a wall by Khan and then thrown on the ground face first, causing multiple abrasions and lacerations to Yander's hands, shoulders and knees.
