Complaint
Description: On September 6, 2016, defendant officers chased Mr. Nieves up the stairs to his apartment and arrested him for an expired order of protection. The defendants threw Mr. Nieves on the ground and punched and kicked him causing injuries to his wrists, shoulder, lower back, knee, head and face. Mr. Nieves was transported to the hospital where he was handcuffed to the bed the entire time. Upon leaving the hospital, he was transported to central booking and then released.
