Complaint
Description: On or about May 14, 2016, police offers (including PO Jacqueli Becker) forcibly seized and detained the PF in the area of Webster Avenue and the the Cross-Bronx Expressway in Bronx County. After detaining the PF, POs arrested PF and falsely accused and charged PF with patronizing a prostitute. Because of DFs' actions, the PF was falsely imprisoned for a period in excess of 72 hours. PF suffered swollen wrists due to improper and unlawful placement of handcuffs on his wrists. Due to the arrest and following malicious prosecution, PF was required to expend funds for private counsel, lose time from work and make several appearances in Criminal Court. The charges against the PF were dismissed on June 22, 2016.
