Description: On January 15, 2012, plaintiff was driving two friends when he was pulled over on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx, NY, by defendant officers. Plaintiff and the occupants were ordered out of the car. Plaintiff was asked if he had any weapons and volunteered he had a small folding knife in his pocket which the officers removed. Plaintiff used this knife as part of his food delivery employment. Plaintiff was then handcuffed, arrested and taken to the 46th Precinct. At the precinct, Defendant Ortiz then opened a toolbox that was in the trunk of plaintiff's car, and found another folding knife used in plaintiff's employment. Defendant Ortiz swore out a criminal complaint against plaintiff that contained false statements....
