Complaint
Description: On January 15, 2016, defendants raided plaintiff’s apartment. Defendants surrounded plaintiff's bed and asked plaintiff whether several baggies of crack cocaine were plaintiff's. Plaintiff answered in the negative. Plaintiff was subsequently handcuffed with punitive tightness and was brought to the kitchen while Defendants searched through plaintiff's belongings. Although defendants found nothing unlawful, plaintiff was arrested and transported to the police precinct, where she was processed. Defendant Lopez fabricated evidence against plaintiff to justify their illegal intrusion of plaintiff's apartment. The charges brought against plaintiff (viz., possession of a criminal substance) were ultimately dismissed...
