Description: On August 2, 2018, Plaintiffs Wilfredo Morales, Sr., Wilfredo Morales, Jr., and Gilberto Morales were inside their apartment with Plaintiff guests Amin Tyler, Ian Rueda, and Steven Reynoso when members of the SWAT team forcibly entered the apartment without a warrant. Defendants--including Officers Nikaurys Martinez and Kingsley Joachim--used physical force to place all Plaintiffs in handcuffs at gunpoint. Without probable cause, they then detained and searched Plaintiffs in the apartment building hallway and at a police precinct.
