Description: On August 14, 2018, Plaintiff was driving through a public intersection when he was stopped by NYPD officers for allegedly not coming to a full stop at a stop sign. Plaintiff, who was not resisting and was not informed that he was being placed under arrest, was restrained and assaulted by Officers Manuel Martinez, Nancy Afaneh, Hassan Gheith, Michael Roder, and “P.O. John and Jane Doe 1-10.” Plaintiff was body slammed into the street, and Officers Martinez, Gheith, Roder, and other unnamed officers punched the plaintiff in the head and body. Description: On September 8, 2017, Mohammed Aboulessan was falsely arrested over an ongoing property dispute with his neighbors. Mohammed alerted Officer Jessnik that he recently had surgery, and pleaded that he not be handcuffed from behind because of the stitches. Officer Jessnik responded, "I don't care." Saadala Aboulessan was physically thrown into the backseat of the police car. Saadala was not seatbelted in, and injured his shin after the police car sped into a car. After searching Mr. Morales, they told him to get on the floor and when Mr. Morales told Defendants he had a knee injury, Defendants threw him onto the ground and stepped on his wrist and kicked him. He was taken to the 68th precinct and he asked for medical assistance but none was provided until he went to Central Booking.
