Description: On October 17, 2018, plaintiff was stopped and searched by NYPD officers Anthony Sengco and Jose Hernandez, who claimed that there was a warrant for his arrest relating to a hit and run. Plaintiff did not resemble the picture of the person who was wanted on the warrant. Plaintiff was taken to the 28th Precinct, where he was held in a cell and falsely charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana. The next day, while plaintiff was being transported to Manhattan Central Booking, he suffered injuries from rough driving. Description: Plaintiffs were concerned about an unconscious woman at the bar they work at/own when the woman's friends yelled racial slurs and assaulted Plaintiff. The restaurant called 911 and when officers arrived, they did not interview Plaintiffs but roughly arrested them instead. Plaintiffs were taken to the 28th precinct and given DATs signed by Officer Sengco for 135.05 unlawful imprisonment, which were later dismissed.
