Description: On or about September 4, 2012, unnamed defendant officers (which may include, but are not limited to, defendants PO Winston Babolal, PO Derby Wancique, and Sergeant Eric Panni) arrested plaintiff, a Black man, in his home without cause and charged plaintiff with robbery in the 2nd degree, among other charges. Plaintiff did not steal any property or commit any offenses under city or state laws that would support his arrest. Defendant officers tightly handcuffed plaintiff behind his back, pushed him into their police cruiser, and detained him at the NYPD's 81st precinct for an extended period.
