Description: On July 12, 2014, plaintiff Rebecca Singleton's decedent son Ron Singleton suffered serious injuries resulting in his death due to the collective conduct of defendants NYPD officers Darian Shannon, James Smith, Robert Holzapfel, William Walsh, James Gallagher, Timothy Tierney, Lt. Michael Gandolfi, Sgt. Steven Cameron, Dets. Robert McGee and James Coll, and unidentified NYPD John Does. The night of July 12, 2014 around 11:00 pm, a taxi cab driver picked up decedent Ron Singleton in Manhattan and was driving south on Fifth Avenue towards the Empire State Building, when the driver became annoyed with decedent's travel directions.
