Basile, Christopher vs New York City, Ny, et al.
Case # 17CV09060, U.S. District Court - Southern District NY, March 8, 2018, ended September 27, 2019
Zero Disposition
Complaint
Description: On December 1, 2016, plaintiff attempted to attend at concert at Madison Square Gardens. After presenting his ticket once, he was told to leave the premises by MSG security officers as he was walking towards the next security checkpoint. Although plaintiff complied, the security officers grabbed him by the shoulder and subsequently assaulted and battered plaintiff. After roughly carrying plaintiff out of the building, they called NYPD officers whom they knew on a first name basis to falsely arrest plaintiff for trespassing. The police officers refused to watch exculpatory surveillance footage and colluded with security personnel in making the false arrest.
