Description: On February 17, 2012, at approximately 5:00 p.m., plaintiff, an African American female, was subjected to an unwarranted home invasion, destruction of property, and unlawful arrest by NYPD officers, including P.O. Mackenso Nelson of the 79th Precinct. The officers, without probable cause or exigent circumstances, forcibly entered plaintiff's home, where she resided with her infant daughter and young nephew. The officers drilled a hole through the peep hole, rammed the door and bent the frame, knocking it off the hinges, while plaintiff and her family were terrified.
