Description: On March 4, 2011, defendants PO Noel Melendez, Edward Washa, Javish Ortiz, Steven Colon, and Jane Doe detained and searched Plaintiff, who was lawfully present on the street. The search yielded no evidence of any guns, drugs, or contraband. Defendant officers then arrested Plaintiff and transported her to the local precinct (exact location unknown, but likely 40th Precinct). At the precinct, defendant officers improperly strip searched Plaintiff, which again yielded no evidence of illegal activity.
