Description: On July 9, 2013, plaintiff Vijay Jain was in the back room of an apartment belonging to parolee Melshawn Johnson when defendants Parole Officers Andre Logan, Ronnita Campbell, and Raynoldo Maristany executed a parole warrant seeking parolee Melshawn Johnson. Johnson opened the apartment door and was immediately arrested. The parole officers then entered the apartment and allegedly saw on the counter near plaintiff a bag containing crack cocaine. Description: On April 7, 2013, plaintiff Vijay Jain was in Apartment 2C at 22 West 128th Street in upper Manhattan when parole officers executed a parole warrant seeking parolee Melshawn Johnson, the owner of the apartment, who was immediately arrested by the parole officers at the entranceway. The parole officers then entered the apartment, discovering plaintiff and his co-defendant Shavaler Johnson next to a bag allegedly containing 26 twists of crack cocaine, and then summoned assistance from the NYPD including defendant Detective Tamara Williams.
