Complaint
Description: Plaintiff was attending to a friend during a medical emergency and approached a police officer, asking whether or not he could retrieve his friend's belongings before his friend was taken to the hospital. Plaintiff was then allegedly thrown to the ground, kicked, and punched by several police officers. Plaintiff was handcuffed, arrested, and charged with obstructing government administration, dis con, resisting arrest, and harassment. During his arraignment, police officers stated that plaintiff had pushed Defendant Sergeant Hart. Charges were then adjourned in contemplation of dismissal after five court appearances.

Description: Defendant Officers forcibly entered an apartment where Plaintiffs were overnight guests. Plaintiff 1 was handcuffed on the ground and Plaintiff 2 was forced to stand naked at gunpoint for 40 minutes. Finally, Plaintiff 2 was permitted to put on clothes and both Plaintiffs were taken to PSA 7, held for four hours, before being released without being charged for any offense.
