Description: Plaintiff called police because her domestic partner took her child after the couple had gotten into a fight. The plaintiff's partner was arrested. Her daughter did not have any signs of injury but was required to be evaluated at a hospital. While waiting at the hospital, the defendant officer called plaintiff to come finish some paperwork at the precinct. The plaintiff went to the 44th precinct before the hospital evaluation where she was then handcuffed, interviewed, and placed in a holding cell. She was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child. Her child was taken to ACS for a day. Plaintiff was released without charge.
