Description: On June 6, 2019, Plaintiff was visiting a friend at the Smith Houses, 180 South St. in Manhattan, when Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff and inquired why he was at the premises. Although Plaintiff said he was visiting a friend and the friend inside confirmed that Plaintiff was her guest, Defendant Officers arrested Plaintiff anyway. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and released after 12 hours. Charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.

Description: Officer Garcia approached Plaintiff while he was standing outside, asked him what he was drinking, to which Plaintiff stated tea, and then Officer Garcia ordered him against the wall. Plaintiff said he did not consent to a search and walked away when officer chased him, tightly handcuffed him, assaulted him, and took him to PSA 4. Plaintiff was strip-searched at the precinct, then directed to the hospital where officers made sure his injuries weren't documented.

Description: On November 30, 2013, Plaintiff was awfully within his aunt's premises on E. 3rd St in New York, NY. Plaintiff was sent by his aunt to but provisions at the store. Plaintiff was taken to a police precinct where he was questioned and then taken to Central Booking. Plaintiff was released after spending almost 15 hours in custody. After appearing in court three times, the DAs office dismissed the case.
