Description: On April 21, 2013, plaintiff Abraham Joseph and plaintiff Caroline Alvarez were approached at an intersection by an individual, whose last name is believed to be Heyliger-Vicente, who attempted to pull Ms. Alvarez from the vehicle against her will. The plaintiffs attempted to flee and, in doing so, Mr. Joseph sustained several severe injuries including a fractured right wrist. PO Bianca Trujillo, Visar Marku, Wilken Evangelista, and Zahir Garo arrived at the scene with the ambulance, and Officer Trujillo arrested Ms. Alvarez, despite the absence of any evidence of wrongdoing on her part and that she was clearly the victim of a crime.
