Description: On April 7, 2023, in Brooklyn, the Plaintiff MALIK WHITE was stopped by Defendants NYPD officers Rashawn Williams, Neil Narayan, Anthony Varrone, and/or Officers John and Jane Doe 1-7, while parking his car. Despite complying with Defendants' requests, after Plaintiff was illegally searched and after he reached to take back items Defendants had taken from his person, the Plaintiff was thereafter physically assaulted, resulting in significant injuries. The officers falsely accused the Plaintiff of resisting arrest and possessing a weapon, leading to his wrongful detention and subsequent release on bail.
