Description: On April 27, 2017, plaintiff Mark Khafif was standing in front of his home when six police officers, defendant Officers James Titus (Shield No. 3128), Sheldon Maxwell (Shield No. 23090), Daniel Miller (Shield No. 24599), Felix Chabanov (Shield No. 953739), and Lt. Yael Magori (Shield No. 942099) arrived and entered his home in response to a call about a verbal dispute at the residence. Khafif answered a phone call from a family member on a cell phone and told them police were at his home. An officer snatched the phone away from him, and after Khafif asked for an explanation for this action, the defendant officers pushed him twice, causing him to fall off the step he was standing on.
